I guess it depends what you mean by officially recognised? By government or ATO? I don’t thing many associations get that coverage from government or their authorities in a legislated (or legal) sense. Maybe someone from ICB can clarify. Regardless of the answer what I do know is that the consumer is the best source of recognition. So many members and many good experiences I have had dealing with them make me feel they are very well recognised. Hope that helps

Thanks John. I was super impressed with Matthews speech at the Jim’s Bookkeeping conference recently so I’m really excited at the prospect of getting some of that kind of ICB organisational knowledge accessed by our bookkeeping partners not yet aligned with the institute.
