Seychelle Ltd is primarily an online business-to-consumer operation, with websites in Australia and New Zealand, as well supplying distributors and retail stores.
We recently interviewed Seychelle’s Natasha Lynch about how Saasu makes a difference for their business.
What does Seychelle do and what makes you stand out?
Seychelle Ltd supplies portable water filtration brand Fill2Pure in New Zealand and Australia. Our filter technology allows users to drink pure, clean, healthy water from any fresh water source instantly without using purification drops, UV light treatment, or reverse osmosis. You can fill a Fill2Pure drink bottle from any river, lake or stream and drink immediately – the water is filtered as you drink.
Why did you choose Saasu?
Saasu was recommended to us by another start-up company. We chose Saasu because it offered the ability to manage our inventory online, while other cloud-based accounting programs we looked into did not have this. We were keen also to use multi-currency because our business is primarily importing water filters from the USA to NZ and Australia. This means we have USD, AUD and NZD transactions as part of our daily business. We are also branching into Taiwan soon so that will mean another currency. The multi-currency aspect has helped immensely with our business.
In what ways has Saasu made an impact on your business
We first started using Saasu 17 months ago, since then Saasu has reduced the amount of time spent on accounts for both our business directors and also for our Accountant. We love the way we can access accounts and customer details anywhere while travelling domestically or overseas. It allows us to understand our business financials and stay up-to-date from wherever in the world we are.
What are your favourite aspects of Saasu
Our favourite aspects of Saasu are the automated bank feeds which are easy to reconcile, and Saasu also makes suggestions for matching bank reconciliations which is helpful.
We have also linked both of our online retail websites that use Magento to Saasu so invoices for our web sales get generated automatically into Saasu, saving data entry time. An email is also generated to our 3rd party logistics warehouse located in Auckland to pick, pack and dispatch orders. Saasu helps automate our entire process.
